Christine Tanabe
Christine leads Lock 8’s engagement with its portfolio companies. She is a strategy and execution-focused leader, committed to building strong teams and enabling their success. With a focus on go-to-market discipline and sales enablement, Christine enjoys collaborating with diverse stakeholders across the Lock 8 portfolio of companies.
Prior to joining Lock 8, Christine held a variety of marketing, strategic planning, and operations roles at high-growth B2B SaaS businesses, including BoardEffect, Diligent Corporation, and SiteHawk. Through these experiences and various consulting engagements, Christine played a key role in developing, executing, and honing the Lock 8 operating model and framework.
Christine holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Wittenberg University where she studied Mandarin Chinese and travelled extensively throughout East and Southeast Asia. She is also a graduate of the Georgetown Public Policy Institute’s Center for Public and Non-Profit Leadership at Georgetown University. She is a New York Botanical Garden-certified Landscape Designer and serves as Board Chair of a 6,000-acre nature preserve and intentional community, which embodies a strong commitment to servant leadership and land conservation, where her leadership focus is on strategic planning, physical plant stewardship, risk management, and governance.
